Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10/22/2026

I’m Just Saying (imjustsaying.net) is run by Rick and Diana. We respect your privacy and keep things simple. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what we do with it.

Information You Give Us

Contact form. When you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you. We don’t sell it, rent it, or add you to any mailing list without asking.

Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect your name, email, website (if you give one), and the comment itself, along with your IP address and browser details to help catch spam. Your name and comment are shown publicly; your email is not. WordPress may show a profile picture from Gravatar, a free service, using a scrambled version of your email address.

Newsletter (coming later). If we start a newsletter, we’ll only email you if you sign up yourself, and every email will have an unsubscribe link.

Information Collected Automatically

Cookies. Like most websites, ours uses small files called cookies to work properly, remember comment details if you ask it to, and keep the site running fast. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Hosting and speed. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and to keep the site running. We use a caching tool to make pages load faster.

Site statistics (if added later). If we add a statistics tool like Google Analytics, it will collect general information about how visitors use the site, such as which pages are popular. We use that only to make the site better.

Amazon and Other Affiliate Links

We’re a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an Amazon link on our site, Amazon may set cookies on your browser so it can credit us for the sale. What Amazon collects is covered by Amazon’s own privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.

YouTube Videos and Other Embedded Content

Many posts include videos from our YouTube channel, Golden’s Adventures. Embedded videos behave just as if you’d visited YouTube itself, so YouTube (owned by Google) may collect data and set cookies under its own privacy policy.

How Long We Keep Information

Contact messages stay in our email until we no longer need them. Comments and their details are kept as long as the comment stays on the site.

Your Choices

You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Just contact us and we’ll take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
